Privacy policy
Illinois Bid Radar collects only the information needed to operate bid discovery, alerts, customer accounts, and Pro launch updates.
Information we collect
When you subscribe to alerts, we collect your email address, selected trade, service counties, alert frequency, consent, and alert-subscription status. When you create an account, we may also collect how you heard about us and, if you were referred by someone, the name you provide. When you request Pro launch updates, we record that interest. Customer accounts may store saved bids, pursuit stages, bid notes, next-action dates, saved searches, alert profiles, and verified billing status. We collect limited usage events such as page views, searches, bid-link clicks, signup events, referring campaign parameters, and a randomly generated browser identifier. Payment-card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored by Illinois Bid Radar.
How we use information
We use this information to deliver requested alerts, confirm and manage alert subscriptions, operate account features, improve opportunity matching, understand which features and outreach are useful, prevent abuse, and respond to questions.
Service providers and public sources
We use hosting, database, analytics, email-delivery, authentication, and payment providers to operate the service. Bid information is gathered from public Illinois procurement sources. We do not sell personal information.
Your choices
Every alert includes an unsubscribe link. You may also request access, correction, or deletion of information associated with your email address by contacting kevin@ilbidradar.com.
Retention and security
We retain information while it is needed to provide the service, maintain records, prevent abuse, and evaluate the product. We use reasonable safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Changes
We may update this policy as the product changes. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are published.
